Offset criticizes Elon Musk for backing pardon of George Floyd’s killer has fiercely criticized Elon Musk after the tech billionaire shared a video advocating for a pardon of Derek Chauvin, the former police officer convicted of killing George Floyd in 2020.
On March 4, Musk reposted a clip from conservative pundit Ben Shapiro, who launched a campaign urging a presidential pardon for Chauvin. Alongside the video, Musk simply wrote: “Something to think about.”
Unimpressed by Musk’s stance, the Migos rapper took to Instagram to express his anger.
“Racist b***h playin’ in Black folks’ faces,” Offset wrote.
His frustration didn’t stop there—he also hinted at boycotting Tesla.
“Driving Ferrari not Tesla,” he added.
Musk’s apparent support for Chauvin’s pardon has sparked widespread backlash, with many questioning his growing political influence. Given his close ties to President Donald Trump, concerns are mounting over the potential implications.
